What “Butcher” (butcher‑block) means Butcher‑block construction is made by gluing many smaller pieces of wood together. Because the wood grain isn’t all running in one direction, the result is typically more stable and durable than a single solid piece, helping to reduce the risk of warping, cracking, or splitting as humidity shifts between dry and humid conditions.
Oak is the sturdiest wood we are using. It is significantly more resistant than the other Kadabras, thus gives you an easier keep – trusting it to pass flights, messy studio recordings, friends, and performances. Oak is also hard to sculpture and sand, but shouldnt break on mild impact, doesnt dent easily or crack on intense pressure.
